Sulphonated Melamine Formaldehyde (SMF) is a high-range water-reducing superplasticizer used to produce high-strength, high-performance concrete. It is supplied as a light brown to brown powder or liquid concentrate, functioning by dispersing cement particles in concrete mix water, allowing significant water reduction while maintaining or improving workability, resulting in concrete with higher final strength, lower permeability, and improved durability compared to conventionally water-reduced concrete.
